On January 1, 2008, Land Designs by Ellison, Inc. and A Cut Above Forestry, Inc. merged to form a new company named Ceres Design & Arborscape, LLC. The new firm retains the assets, employees, management and customer relationships of its two predecessor firms. Land Designs by Ellison and A Cut Above Forestry are now trade names under which Ceres Design & Arborscape conducts its business. Ceres Design & Arborscape is a privately held LLC which is governed by its Member/Owners. The ownership of Ceres is by the same individuals who founded and owned the predecessor firms. These original owners remain active in Ceres Design & Arborscape.
